The Bangladesh Cricket Council appealed to the International Criminal Court for a transfer to make a change.
After the fans were overwhelmed, the Bangladesh Cricket Council (BCB) was forced to change the color scheme of their team’s main world championship shirt by adding a red green to all players that the players had set.
The BCB, in the ESPNCricinfo report, contacted the International Criminal Court to make a referral for change.
The Bangladesh national flag has a red circle on a green background, and when the shirt was first released, social media came to tizzy with fans who criticized the thinking process behind the design.
After opening the dinner, I sat with the board directors to see the shirt again, BCB President Nazmass Hassan was quoted as saying in ESPNCricinfo.
Someone noticed something in red. Now we’ve decided to add our red.
“Initially it was the ICC who told us that our shirt was not red,” said Hassan, adding: “We have a separate shirt, completely red (with white letters) for some other games.”
The new shirt has a red spot in the middle of the shirt with a team name on white.
“We have been red and green several times, but there were times when we didn’t have red,” said Hassan.
“I remember that it was yellow and green during the 1999 World Cup and the Asian Cup in 2000. In the past, we have also left an open competition to design a shirt, but as it is an ICC event, we had to send them a design approval , “He added.
